LLMO check
Use an LLMO check to see your rank and competitor gap in AI answers
LLMO (large language model optimization) means shaping your public information so that AI such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, and Google AI Overviews uses it correctly and lists your company as a candidate. It is also called GEO (generative engine optimization) or AIO (AI optimization). AI Reputation X-Ray is a free LLMO check that shows where your company appears in AI answers as a starting point.
Two types of LLMO check
Tools called LLMO checks fall into two broad types. They answer different questions, so choose the one that matches what you want to know.
- Site structure checkers: review structured data, robots.txt, llms.txt, FAQs, and other signals that make a site easy for AI to cite
- AI answer rank checks (AI Reputation X-Ray): check whether AI answers to buyer-style questions recommend your company, where it ranks, and how it compares with competitors
What this LLMO check shows
Enter your company name and official URL. This service's AI creates buyer-style questions and checks mentions and rank within its answers. It does not capture the actual answer screens of ChatGPT or other services, and AI answers change by service, time, and how the question is asked.
- How many questions mentioned your company and how often it reached the top three
- Per-question rank and overall rank against competitors
- Public information AI may have used
- Public pages to review next, such as landing pages, FAQs, pricing, and customer stories
What to do after the check
If your rank is low or your company is not listed, AI may lack the public information it needs to describe you. Clearly and factually describe your service, target customers, pricing, customer stories, and differences from competitors on your official site, then recheck under the same conditions. This service does not edit your site and does not guarantee higher AI answer or search rankings.
